How does Maximum Score Builders work?

Maximum Score Builders begins with enrollment and required written disclosures, followed by access to current credit reports, a personalized review, identification of information that may warrant a legitimate dispute, and an individualized action plan. When appropriate, dispute correspondence is prepared using the consumer's rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and other applicable laws. Clients also receive credit education, progress tracking, and credit-building guidance. Accurate, verifiable information is not guaranteed to be removed.

Our Client Process

Five Steps From Enrollment to Ongoing Credit Improvement

This page explains the actual client journey. For a detailed list of individual services, visit our Services page .

1
Step One

Complete Enrollment & Review Your Agreement

The process begins with your basic information, required consumer disclosures, plan information, and written service agreement. You have an opportunity to review the terms, pricing, services, cancellation rights, and important disclosures before moving forward.

  • Review the services being offered
  • Review pricing and billing terms
  • Receive required consumer disclosures
  • Review applicable cancellation rights
  • Electronically sign through the secure client system
  • Receive a copy of your agreement
Important: Maximum Score Builders does not promise a specific score increase, deletion, financing approval, or completion date.
2
Step Two

Obtain Current 3-Bureau Credit Reports

Accurate analysis requires current information from Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. We review the reports available through the consumer's selected credit-report or monitoring source and compare how accounts and personal information appear across the three bureaus.

  • Experian report review
  • Equifax report review
  • TransUnion report review
  • Account and balance comparison
  • Personal-information review
  • Collections, charge-offs, inquiries, and other entries
Your choice: Consumers may obtain credit reports on their own, including free reports available through AnnualCreditReport.com. Certain clients may choose a third-party monitoring service for updated report access.
3
Step Three

Credit Review & Personalized Strategy

We review your reports and discuss your credit goals. The purpose is to separate legitimate reporting issues from accurate information and identify the actions that may be most appropriate for your individual situation.

  • Potential reporting inconsistencies
  • Duplicate or outdated information
  • Personal-information errors
  • Utilization and revolving balances
  • Payment-history concerns
  • Home, auto, refinance, or rebuilding goals
No “dispute everything” approach: We focus on information that the consumer has a legitimate basis to question. Accurate negative information may remain for the legally permitted reporting period.
4
Step Four

Dispute Assistance & Consumer-Rights Process

When information appears inaccurate, incomplete, or otherwise legitimately disputable, we help organize dispute correspondence and supporting documentation based on the facts of the account and applicable consumer rights.

  • Credit-bureau dispute assistance under FCRA §611
  • Furnisher-direct dispute review where appropriate
  • Personal-information correction requests
  • Mixed-file and identity-related issue review
  • Collection-account documentation review
  • Tracking responses and follow-up needs
FCRA clarification: FCRA §609 concerns disclosure of information contained in your credit file. FCRA §611 contains the primary credit-bureau reinvestigation procedures for disputed information.
5
Step Five

Track Progress, Build Credit & Adjust the Plan

Credit improvement does not end with a dispute. We review updates, explain responses, identify next actions, and help clients develop responsible habits that may support stronger long-term credit.

  • Review updated credit information
  • Track dispute responses
  • Monitor utilization
  • Strengthen payment habits
  • Learn responsible credit-building options
  • Adjust the action plan as circumstances change
Long-term objective: The goal is not only to address questionable reporting but also to help consumers understand how to maintain healthier credit moving forward.
Before Your Consultation

Why the Agreement Comes First

Our enrollment workflow is intentionally structured so required disclosures and the written service agreement are presented before the service consultation proceeds. This keeps the process transparent and makes sure consumers can see the services, pricing, cancellation terms, and important limitations before beginning the program.

Know the Services

You can review what Maximum Score Builders will provide before services begin.

Know the Cost

Pricing and billing terms are disclosed in writing rather than being hidden inside a sales conversation.

Know Your Rights

Applicable cancellation rights and required consumer disclosures are included in your agreement.

Realistic Expectations

What Happens After Disputes Are Submitted?

Credit bureaus and furnishers control their own investigations and responses. Maximum Score Builders cannot control or guarantee the result of an investigation.

Investigation & Response

Credit bureaus generally have statutory timelines for reinvestigating properly submitted disputes, subject to applicable exceptions and circumstances.

Updated Reports

We review new report information and responses to determine whether an item was corrected, removed, verified, updated, or requires additional review.

Next Actions

Depending on the result, the next step may involve additional documentation, further review, education, or simply allowing accurate information to remain.

Yes. Consumers may dispute credit-report information directly with Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion without hiring a credit repair organization. Maximum Score Builders is an optional professional service for consumers who want structured assistance, education, organization, and ongoing support.
